Todd Adelson, D.O.

Dr. Todd Adelson, D.O., completed, with high honors, his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree at Michigan State University and received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. He then completed his internship at Botsford Hospital-Michigan State University followed by 3 years of ophthalmology residency training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where he worked and trained alongside world-renowned ophthalmologists at the Will’s Eye Hospital. From there, Dr. Adelson went on to complete a prestigious advanced cataract and refractive surgery fellowship in affiliation with Michigan State University, where he was exposed to and participated in an extensive volume of refractive surgeries including LASIK.

Constantly working as an innovator in the field of ophthalmology, Dr. Adelson is bringing the latest eye research, developments and technologies to the practice. He has gone on to perform thousands of LASIK and cataract procedures and is known for his specialty and expertise in LASIK and cataract surgery.

Dr. Adelson strives to pass on this knowledge by performing lectures for residents and medical students at Michigan State University as well as Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition, he continues his participation in medical case studies and teaches local medical students and residents in both formal educational settings and clinical settings on a regular basis. Todd is an avid sports enthusiast for both college and professional sports. He’s a Michigan State Fan but has a soft spot for Michigan as well (at times.) He loves boating, traveling, good food and looking at real estate. His real passion in life is his family and 2 year old daughter, Tia. Being a Dad is his greatest accomplishment
